JMF Branco 2019 is a white regional (VR – Vinho Regional) wine produced by the José Maria da Fonseca winery in the Península de Setúbal wine region of Portugal.
José Maria da Fonseca is a family winery with almost two centuries of history that has been able to modernize itself to meet the highest standards of demand.
This white wine is a blend of the Fernão Pires and Moscatel Graúdo (Moscatel de Setúbal) grape varieties. These grapes with their fruity aromas go well together.
Medium-yellow colored wine with citric and light tropical fruity aromas like lemon, green apple, pear and a bit of mango, on the nose. On the palate, crispy and fruity aromas return with medium acidity and a light sweetness that results in a well-balanced, light-bodied wine.
The minerality and freshness with a short finish and 12,5% alcohol content make this wine great.
So… this JMF Branco 2019 is a really fresh, fruity, light Portuguese white wine.
Pairing well with easy meals, fishes or seafood. Consume at 11-12ºC of temperature.
