Aliança Tinto Bruto Reserva Espumante, from Bairrada

Red sparkling wine from Portugal? Yes, why not!

Bacalhôa is one of the largest and most innovative wineries in Portugal, which has developed over the years a wide range of wines that have earned it a reputation and the preference of national and international consumers. Their passion for wine and art come together in their products.

The Caves Aliança S.A. became a part of the Bacalhôa group, and its name was changed to Aliança Vinhos de Portugal S.A.

The winery operates in the most important regions of the country, such as in the heart of Bairrada, where their best sparkling wines are made. Among others this red espumante (sparkling wine in Portuguese), under the Aliança brand.

This sparkling is produced from the Baga and Tinta Roriz grape varieties and was aged for 24 months in the bottle.

It presents a dark, inky color.

Intensely fruity aromas with the right balance on the nose. Notes of blackberry, black currant, and cherry.

On the palate, fruity and fresh wine. Soft and slightly acidic, giving it a great freshness on the finish.

12.5% vol.

Should be served at 8-10 °C temperature.

Pairing well with the traditional Portuguese gastronomy: the famous, roasted suckling pig (Leitão da Bairrada), veal or lamb in the oven, and grilled or baked oily fish.

With its deep color and fruity aroma, Aliança Red Brut Sparkling Wine gives a very fresh finish to the mouth.
