Aveleda Fonte Rosé 2021, from Vinho Verde

The most recent launch of the Aveleda brand, the Aveleda Fonte Rosé, has arrived on the market.

More than a recognized brand, Aveleda is a family winery founded in 1870 that, 5 generations later, remains faithful to its values and the production of high-quality wines. Located in the heart of the Vinho Verde Region, and with a 35% market share worldwide, Aveleda is today the largest Portuguese producer and exporter of Vinho Verde.

The brand invites consumers to experience the other side of Vinho Verde wines, opting for a rosé that stands out from the predominant color of the region.

Aveleda Fonte Rosé is a rosé Vinho Verde wine typical of the region.

A blend of the Azal Tinto, Touriga Nacional and Espadeiro grapes, that were growing on granite (sandy loam) soil and harvested in 2021.

The harvest is carried out at night to ensure the freshness of the grapes and the consequent preservation of their aromatic properties. The red grapes are subjected to a gentle pressing, without contact with skins. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures to maintain the most typical aromas of the grape varieties. During fermentation, the lees are kept in suspension to preserve the freshness of the wine.
