The Algibre 2015 is a product of a small vineyard in the Algarve region of Portugal called Quinta da Tôr.
This dry red wine is made from Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties.
A full-bodied wine with intense ruby color, medium tannins and quite a long finish.
Plum and black cherry, baking spices, and a bit smokey on the nose, prunes, chocolate and black fruits jam on the palate.
Manually harvested grapes in stainless steel vats, with temperature control. Aging for 17 months in new French oak barrels.
Intense aroma with a velvety texture, dried fruit and cedar from aging. 14,5% ABV.
In 2017, this vineyard won a silver medal at the Algarve Wine Competition for its vintage Algibre wine from 2014.
Pair it with red and wild meats, or strong cheese.
