The grapes were harvested manually. Then reception with immediate destemming and crushing, and being transported to the fermentation vats. Part of the batch ages for a period of 12 months in predominantly French oak, with a small percentage of American wood, adding complexity and a long finish.
The drink presents a deep ruby color.
Rich red and black fruits aromas on the nose, a mix of blueberry, blackberry, cherry and cranberry, with some spices and dried fruit notes, pepper, licorice, black raisin and prune, accompanied with floral smells of violet. From the barrel, intense aromas of oak, tobacco, vanilla, cedar and coffee.
On the palate, balanced, velvety flavors with smooth fruits, slightly pronounced tannins and low acidity. A full-bodied wine that combines the aromatic intensity of Touriga Franca, with the floral and fragrant aroma and structure of Touriga Nacional, together with the freshness and acidity of Tinta Roriz.
