Vidigueira Premium Branco, from DOC Alentejo

Vidigueira Premium white wine from the Adega Cooperativa de Vidigueira, Cuba e Alvito , in the Alentejo wine region of Portugal.

The Cooperative Winery of Vidigueira, Cuba and Alvito began its activity in 1963. It is the result of the dream, effort and work of most winegrowers in the regions of Vidigueira, Cuba and Alvito, based on the experience of tradition and the recognition of reinvention, supported by a recognized and remembered quality.

The wine is a blend of the Arinto, Antão Vaz, and Roupeiro grapes. A perfect combination of these varieties reveals the essence and the flavors of the Vidigueira region.

Vinification is by a manual harvest, selection of grapes and fermentation in vats at controlled temperature. Aging for 6 months in French and American oak barrels.

This white wine presents a light straw color.

Arinto gives lively, refreshing acidity to the wine, with a mineral quality, along with gentle flavors reminiscent of apple, lime and lemon.

Antão Vaz creates a firm, full-bodied, well-structured wine from this drink, with lively aromas of ripe tropical fruits, and tangerine peel.

And the Roupeio, since it is an exuberantly aromatic variety, fills this wine with citrus and floral notes, and hints of peach, melon, and laurel.

Very fresh and balanced wine with a persistent finish and 14% alcohol.

Serve this wine at a temperature of 10-12 °C.

Excellent pairing combination with cod dishes, or fish dishes in the oven. Extremely pleasant also with scallops and white meat dishes.
