Vinha da Valentina Branco, white wine from the vintage 2020, produced by Casa Ermelinda Freitas Vinhos Lda, located in Fernando Pó, in the Setúbal wine region of Portugal.

Casa Ermelinda Freitas is a family-run company, founded in 1920. The quality of their wines is recognized globally, which is validated by the hundreds of international awards obtained. The winery is in the Palmela sub-region, where the hot sunshine is tempered by cooling ocean breezes.

In charge today is Leonor Freitas, who received the Order of Merit for her contribution to the Portuguese wine industry.

This wine is a blend of the floral Fernão Pires, the lemony Arinto and the pleasant Moscatel grape varieties. Fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature, followed by a short aging period of 3 months in French and American oak.

The drink presents a medium-yellow color with a beautiful golden hue on the edge.

On the nose, very fresh aromas of tree fruits, pear, apple and peach, surrounded with sweet floral notes.

On the palate, good complexity and concentration. Rich flavors of ripe fruits mixed with tropical aromas of mango and guava. Good acidity gives the wine freshness.

An intense, fruity, medium-dry wine with a medium-long, pleasant, very fresh finish with a light hint of citric touches.

A well-balanced, mineral wine. Perfect summer drink!

12,5% ABV.

Consume at a temperature of 12 °C.

Ideal to accompany a baked codfish in olive sauce, any seafood and salads.
