Marquês de Marialva Colheita Seleccionada 2015 is a dry red wine, by the Adega de Cantanhede winery, from Bairrada DOC of Portugal.
Colheita Seleccionada means Selected Harvest.
The wine has a medium garnet color which turns to black on the edges.
Blended from the Baga, Touriga Nacional and Aragonez native grape varieties, giving a ripe, good structured drink.
Strongly black fruity aromas, blackberry, blackcurrant, black plum and black cherry, with oaky notes, hints of black chocolate and baked species on the nose. On the palate, it is a semi-dry red wine with low acidity, good balance and good persistence with a short finish, filled with medium tannins and a hint of bitterness.
Elegant, light-bodied red wine with 13% alcohol volume.
This very gastronomic and easy-drinking wine goes well with fatty, spiced and roasted meats, steaks, or blue cheeses.
