Branco Vinhas Velhas ’18 by Morgado do Quintão, Algarve

This Branco Vinhas Velhas ’18 dry white wine is a perfect choice for this spring!

The drink was made from a Portuguese grape variety called Crato Branco (its synonyms include: Roupeiro, Siria), at the vineyard Morgado do Quintão in Algarve, Portugal.

This full-bodied wine has a medium yellow color, which is paired with floral and tropical aromas, like ananas on the nose, alongside mineral, a bit of yeast and oaky taste on the palate.

This wine was made in a hot dry summer, with all bunch pressing, cold settling, inoculation with terroir yeast, 50 % in new barrels and 50% in stainless steel. Ferments in barrels and stays in barrels for 6 to 8 months. Filtration prior to bottling.

Perfect volume with higher acidity and moderate alcohol. Fruity, long finish with freshness and complexity.

Pair it with local regional seafood, an easy pasta, pizza carbonara, or any white meats.

Don’t miss this wine this summer during your holiday in Algarve!
